Psychotherapy
At Mindful Growth, we combine evidence-based therapies to support your unique needs. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) reshapes negative thought patterns, fostering positive change. Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) uses innovative techniques to rapidly address trauma, anxiety, and PTSD without requiring extensive discussion.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) builds skills for emotional regulation and resilience, while mindfulness strategies enhance present-moment awareness and emotional well-being. Together, these approaches create a personalized path to healing and growth.
Our therapists see patients ages 8 and older for 1:1 therapy. We also offer parent training sessions and family therapy.
Personalized Psychiatric Care
Our board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provides psychiatric assessments and medication management tailored to patients aged five through geriatric. Specializing in depression, anxiety, ADHD, sleep disorders, mood disorders, psychosis, and addiction, this service prioritizes a thoughtful, collaborative 1:1 approach.
By offering care on a cash-pay basis, the PMHNP steps outside insurance constraints to dedicate more time to understanding each patient's unique needs. With extensive experience in emergency medicine, community mental health, outpatient care, dual diagnosis, and inpatient psychiatry, this approach ensures personalized, holistic treatment plans designed to help you achieve lasting well-being.
Expert Psychological Testing
At Mindful Growth, we provide personalized psychological and independent educational evaluations using a variety of professional assessments. Our testing process is tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring accurate diagnoses and actionable recommendations. We proudly serve individuals aged 3 and older for psychological evaluations. Here is an overview that explains how testing works.
Common evaluation requests include Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, Anxiety, Developmental Disabilities, and Learning Disabilities. Additionally, our team includes Nationally Certified School Psychologists who specialize in independent psycho-educational evaluations, often used for IEP consideration.
For psycho-educational evaluations, we encourage clients to first consult their local educational agency, as these assessments are available to all students under state and federal law. Explore how our evaluations can provide clarity and guidance for your needs.
