FAQs

Each provider (therapy and psychiatry) takes insurance, but which insurance varies by the provider. You will want to request that we confirm the person you book with is IN network with your insurance. As a reminder, patients are ultimately responsible for knowing and understanding their benefits. We currently accept: BCBS, United, UMR, Aetna, Tricare, and Medicaid, including the 3 Indiana Medicaid Managed Entities.

Our psychiatry and medication team consists of experts in the medication management of mental health and behavioral health conditions. There are some conditions that therapy alone can help but in some cases, with the assistance of medication, more meaningful change can occur. It’s also possible that you are ready for medication, but you just aren’t ready to commit to therapy yet. We get it. We can meet you where you are.

You may not need testing before diagnosis or treatment. Testing is usually for differential diagnosis — which means there are several diagnoses to consider, the health history is complicated, or there are many considerations to be studied before evaluating. Your provider can tell you more at your intake session.
